  • Back to the grind in the good ol' US of A!  I got home from Ukraine on February 10, and found myself in Sacramento by February 13. :s  Back home on the 16th, but off to Michigan on the 17th to speak for the CAMPUS Ministries Winter Retreat.  Here's some pictures of some of my wonderful friends I saw there.

  • Here's some pictures from my trip to the Ukraine, January 18-February 10, 2005.  I was there with fifteen students from Ouachita Hills Academy and Miss Katie Miller.  We held an evangelistic series and trained the Ukrainian young people to hold their own Youth for Jesus campaign!  I was very busy, with morning worships at Our Home, training classes during the day, and preaching every single night.

That's me!  Brrrrr!!! It was as cold as -20 Celcius much of the time!

Here we are in the Nimerov SDA Church.

With the still-standing statue of Lenin!  We were preaching the Three Angels' Messages just across the street, right under his watchful gaze!

The Adventist Church in Nimerov, with our trusty bus in front.

The sanitarium at Our Home, the OCI project where we stayed.

Here are the lovely houses at Our Home where we lived for three weeks.

Mr. Winter can make everything so incredibly beautiful!

On an early morning sun-rise walk.

Giving health lectures at the public school.

Lindsay gives a health talk on depression at a local college.  Many came to the meeting that night!

Here with some local team members and baptismal candidate.

The greatest first-time translator ever!  And a wonderful friend.  Thanks for all your hard work translating the sermons every night!

Our very own resident translator, Svetlana!

Our team with the Ukrainian Youth for Jesus team!

Smiles that warm even the coldest days! :)

  • Boarding the British Airways jet to London, where we had a layover.

On the Thames, across from Big Ben.  Even though we had less than 24 hours in London we saw a lot!  We stayed at a hostel just down from Picadilly Circus and saw (from the outside at least!) Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Harrod's, St. Paul's cathedral, Trafalgar Square, the Tower, and the Tower Bridge!

Amity never looked so good!  Here's the new fountain - and our first day back home!

Wow!  I've had a busy schedule this year!  Let's see.... January 9-10 I was in Asheville, NC, January 12-14 I was in Sacramento, CA, January 15-17 I was in Atlanta, GA, and January 18-February 10 I was in the Ukraine

Here's my family - Christmas 2004.  It was great to begin 2005 with the ones I love the most.

  • 2005 has been an incredible year so far!  I hope that this site will be a way I can keep better in touch with people and at least let them know how God is working and blessing in my life.

  • OK, here's a few more pictures from the Louisiana mission trip, these from our work at New Orleans First Church.

This is the New Orleans First Church.

When we arrived the front of the sanctuary was a dark paneling.  We removed the paneling and replaced it with sheetrock.

Here's Andy and Mr. Dysinger hanging sheetrock in the fellowship hall.

Andy, Megan, and I had the job of replacing siding on the gable end of the sanctuary.  We're working off ladders placed on the flat roof.

Mr. Leach and William finished the job the next day. Doesn't it look nice?

Catherine hanging concrete board in the restroom.

Mr. Leach and William installing new light fixtures.

It was such a blessing to be able to help our brothers and sisters in New Orleans!
